Di satu petang yg hening.

Mr Jale: Hello.
Aku: Hello. Sapo neh?
Mr Jale: Ni Jale. Shamil duduk kat mane?
Aku: Jale mano? aku duk kat klate ah. Bakpo?
Mr Jale: Ni Jale dari UTP.

Mengetahui beliau adelah Mr Jale, lecturer pre-calculus aku, dengan cepat aku menukar loghat. Dan berlagak sopan.

Aku: Oh, Mr Jale. Kenape telepon ni?
Mr Jale: Ni, Shamil ade anta assignment 3 aritu kan. Lepas ni anta balik dalam format 2003. Sebab saya xleh bukak yg 2007 punye.
Aku: Oh, ok. Takde hal lah. Malam ni jugak saye email-kan bende tuh.
Mr Jale: Ok, salam.

tuttt..
Bunyi talian terputus. Aku agak keciwa. Ingatkan Mr Jale telefon sebab ape, nk bagitau final exam aku fullmark ke, dapat seratus ke, ni suruh anta assigment.
Aku mengeluh kuat sambil menuju ke arah laptop untuk menyempurkan tugas tersebut.
